Care For Beads
There are a few simple rules to follow that will extend the life of your beads and the jewelry made with them.
· Never allow your beads to get wet. I’m always surprised to learn that some people take showers wearing their beaded jewelry.
· Avoid sunlight, especially during storage, which can fade some colors.
· Put on your jewelry after applying any creams or hairspray, since skin acids, creams and cosmetics can cause colors to change and coatings to gradually wear off. After Wearing, gently wipe jewelry with a soft cloth before putting it away, especially in your skin became clammy or sweaty during wear.
· Store each piece of sterling silver jewelry in a plastic zip lock bag with excess air pressed out, which will help to reduce tarnishing.
