Beading Classes

Classes: It is necessary to have a paid reservation before class by

calling the store (941) 331-4333 or by dropping by to sign up

 Class Descriptions - Single session $35; Double session $55 (does not include materials)

Private Clases Available ($35 for single 2 hour session).  Examples (pictures shown below) are:

 There are many classes that can be booked on a private basis at the same cost. Rivoli Bezel,  Dancing Pearl bracelet, YoYo Focal, Peyote Leaves,  Wire Crochet, Turbular Herringbone,  St Petersburg Necklace, the Russion Spiral, 2-Ring Knockout, Dutch Spiral, Double Pearly Weave, Cellini Spiral, Double, and a Christmas Ornament

Basic Bead Stringing
$30 (1 session) all materials and use of tools provided

Skill Level: Beginner
Class Description: You will learn about the basic tools, materials and techniques to create a single strand bracelet and a pair of earrings. You can later apply this information to create multi-strand pieces, necklaces, badge holders, eyeglass holders, pendants, charms bracelets, bookmarks, and keychains. During this class you will make a bracelet and pair of earrings.

 

 

Basic Kumihimo - Triple Twist Bracelet
$55.00 (2 sessions) + materials

Skill Level: Beginner
Class Description: You will learn the basic kumihimo technique with three colors to make a bracelet. Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese braiding technique. For more information on this technique check out the article on Kumihimo in our Article Archive. During the first session
you will learn how to load the beads on the thread and to begin the braiding process. Your homework over the week between classes is to complete the braiding. During the second session you will learn how to attach your bead caps and clasp.

 

 

Beaded Bead

$35 + materials

Skill Level: Beginner

Class Description: This beaded bead is worked in two sections to create a woven look. You can use any size  crystal once you have learned the technique. Great project for a 'make and take' class.

 

Chunky Cellini Bracelet

$35 + materials

Teacher: Debbie Blamy

Skill Level: Beginner - comfortable using a needle and thread. Knowledge of peyote helpful.

Class Description: If you like the look of a chunky spiral bracelet then you will "love" this bracelet!! You'll want to make a matching necklace to complete this "WOW" set. This bracelt us contructed with the tubular peyote stitch and a variety of sizes of beads.

 

Crystalized Herringbone Bracelet
$35 (1 session) + materials

Skill Level: some weaving experience required
Class Description: Learn the herringbone stitch, embellished with 3mm crystals. Then embellish your bracelet with an adorable cluster of bright shiny crystals that cover the clasp. Project will not be completed in class, however, you will have enough knowledge and detailed instructions to complete on your own.

 

Dagger Bracelet
$35 (1 session) + materials
Teacher: Debbie Blamy
Skill Level: need peyote experience & requires strong focus on details!
Class Description: Learn a fast way to do the odd-count peyote. Adding daggers create movement, making it an eye-catcher! This project will be completed in class.

 

 

 

Dagger Necklace (Reversible) & Earrings
$35+ materials

Skill Level: intermediate level weaver & requires strong focus on details!
Class Description: Learn the ladder stitch for the choker base, then work on looping daggers
and seed beads to create a lovely drape. This will sounds simple, however, it is easy to tangle your Fireline so it takes lots of concentration. This is a reversible choker, with matching earrings, which can be dressy on one side and casual on the other.

 

 

 

Double Core Spiral Bracelet

Skill Level: some wesving experience required

Class Description: Have fun spiraling around and around! When you wear your bracelet you will enjoy the compliments you will receive. You will not complete this in class be will have all the directions required (and of course our help is available)

 

 

 

Double DNA Spiral Necklace

Skill Level: Some weaving experience required

Class Description: Double the fun of a regular spiral, full of beads that go round and round. This certainly this a necklace of substance. This project will not be compoleted in class.

 

 

 

Embroidered Cuff with Beads

Class Description: Learn to make a bead embroidered cuff. Let your imagination go wild to design a one of a kind cuff. Your friends will be envious of your creation. Just when you thought you couldn’t - YOU CAN!

 

Flower Kumihimo Bracelet

Class Description: learn how to load your beads so that you completed piece will be covered with a flower design.

 

 

Girly Girls Love Bling

Class Description: This is a fun bracelet to make. You will be the envy of all your friends. Mix all of your crystals to make a one of a kind bracelet.

 

 

 

 

Peyote Bracelet

Class Description: You will learn the even-count flat peyote stitch and how edge a bracelet, and you will learn to attach embellishment beads and a clasp.

 

Reversible Crystal Bracelet
$35 (1 session) + materials

Skill Level: no experience required.
Class Description: Learn the right angle weave technique with crystals. This will enable you to make a beautiful crystal bracelet in approx. 3 hours. This is a very popular class for those who love crystals.

Sparkling Waves Bracelet

Skill Level:  Beginner
Class Description: This bracelet is an eye catcher. If you like being able to complete your project in a 2 hour class - then this come is for you. It is easy to make, but looks complex.


 

Twist & Shout Necklace

Class Description: Learn the African Helix stitch. The fun of this stitch is starting it on a wooden dowl. Fun and easy, so enjoyable to wear. Project will not be completed in class, however, you will have enough knowledge to complete on your own.
